The Sandbox Children’s Consignment is just that, a consignment shop, which means we do not buy your items outright, but instead compensate you when your items are sold.
We will consign your items for 60 days and offer a 50/50 split for anything sold. Please read carefully our consignment guidelines prior to bringing in any items.
We will be accepting items for consignment on Mon- Fri 10am – 4pm and Sat 10am-1pm
Please be prepared to wait for any items that may be returned to you. Any items that were accepted and later found to be damaged will be donated without notice. If you are unsure about an item, please call us

CLOTHING:
Clothing no older than 3 years, sizes NB to size 8 are considered. Clothing must be freshly laundered (within
48 hours) laid flat in a laundry basket or plastic bin prior to bringing in. Items brought in garbage, free plastic
grocery bags or a cardboard box will not be accepted.

• NO stains. Carefully check sleeves, collars and knees. piling, pet hair or heavy wear
  
• NO smells of any kind, no piling, pet hair or heavy wear
  
• NO missing buttons, broken zippers or buckles
  
• Seasonal (changes will be determined by weather and customer needs.)

To ensure quality and a positive return, we will not accept any Wal-Mart, Kmart or Target brands.
(Denim jeans are the exception)
Brands not accepted: Cherokee, Circo, Xhilaration, Massimo, Faded Glory, Gerber, Announcements, Garanimals, Peek-
A-Babe, Tykes, Max Grey, Park Bench Kids, Green Soda, Basic Editions, Bailey’s Pt. and Kid Connection.

BABY GEAR AND TOYS:

Preparing Your Toys and Equipment for Consignment:
Due to our size, we will be very selective to ensure we offer our families the very best items available. Toys must look new with no worn stickers or labels, all parts present and working. Batteries if required (a $2.00 fee will be applied to your account for any batteries or light bulbs we need to supply). It is your responsibility to carefully check both government recall websites PRIOR to bringing any items. United States Government Website:  www.recalls.gov.  Safety Commission Checklist: www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prerel.html **Any item that is later discovered to be a recalled item will be immediately recycled without notice.** Unless the following items are new in a factory sealed box, due to our size, we will not be accepting the following items.
High Chairs, Toddler Car Seats,Bassinets, Cradles, Diaper Pails

Below is a list of baby gear items we will not be accepting at this time.

Cribs, Pack n Plays, Breast Pumps, Jewelry of any kind, Used Feeding Equipment, Used Undergarment or Underwear, no VHS or Cassettes.

TOYS:
Only higher quality toys will be accepted: Mellissa & Doug, Alex, Parents, Little Tykes, Step 2, Infantino, Maxi Cosi, Joovy, Dutailer, Chicco and Lego to name a few.
Only books that are unmarked and free of tears will be accepted. No coloring, activity or comic books.
We will not accept any $1 store items, randomly bagged items (unless they belong to a complete set), store brand or no name low end toys.

You may take payment for your items in one of three ways: play credit, store credit or check. When using play credit, you will receive 20% off each admission at the time credit is used. Receive an automatic 10% discount when you use store credit to purchase something within the store. We will issue checks once a month. We will keep items in our store for three months. Items may be discounted at our discretion as follows: 15% off after 30 days and 30% after 60 days. If you opted to pick up your unsold item(s) at the end of their consignment, it is your responsibility to pick up any items within 3 days of the date given upon drop off. If your items are not picked up within 3 days, all items become property of The Sandbox and may be donated.
